Trenches In War

                                     TRENCHES

Trenches are long skinny holes in the ground.In the 1900's in war they had no tents or huts.So they had to stay in it.They didn't dare to go out of it,if they did they would get shot.The trenches are as tall as a 13 year old boy/girl I think.They had no showers or baths so they had to wipe them selves with a wet cloth,YUCK!They thought that going to war let them explore more things and that it wasn't that bad,but...IT WAS!I mean...I wouldn't go to war and live that fearful life,I think you would agree!Did you know that some of them died from diseases like trench foot. Trench foot was so bad they had to have their foot chopped off,OUCH!You get trench foot from standing it mud and staying there.The mud gets in the trench and you can't go out of the trench or you'll get shot remember.Also they had to dig a hole to go...toilet,Some times it...over flows.That's my amazing blog!
