Class Newsletter Term 3, Week 8

Hi Everyone,

I hope you have had a lovely weekend.   I am looking forward to hearing about the Koanga Festival that our Kapa Haka performed in on Saturday.
This week we started our new value, 'Constantly Kind'.  We are aiming to be kind to others and 'pay it forward' to show how we can make a difference in other people's lives.  It was clear to us after our discussions that being kind makes others feel happy as well as ourselves.
Congratulations to Rory, Sophia, Ivy and Evangeline who competed in the Interschool Gymnastics competition on Wednesday.  A big thank-you as well from myself and the gym club to Bradley and Natalia for being judging assistants.

We have begun the Keeping Ourselves Safe program.  Homework came home on Friday explaining the tasks to do at home as a follow up from what your child learnt at school.  Please only complete Activity 1 at this stage.  I will send an email home to let you know when do complete the other parts of the booklet.

Goal: Be aware that our words and actions affect others.
