learning to pick the bad path or good path

Dear Miss Lister

In values I have learnt that if you have a very good friend and they pick the wrong path that you shouldn't follow their footprints.I know that they might not like you anymore but what if someday you get in trouble for something you didn't even do because your friend pick the wrong path.I think picking the right path is right.
