Class Newsletter Term 3, Week 4

Hi All,

This week was a great week despite the rough weather we all endured.  The Adidas Fun Run was an amazing day and all the students in Room 3 put in their 100% All Blacks effort. Alongside our goal, we are also making sure that we put a similar effort into our work in and out of the classroom.  The All Blacks team are a good example of a team who works hard through training, being healthy, supportive and team players before and during a game.  this is what we are aspiring to be while we are at school.  This way of thinking can also be added into daily routines you have at home.
Please can you check your child's hair regularly for nits.  They are unfortunately circulating in the Senior School.  There are many different shampoos you can buy from the pharmacy as well as using conditioner with a nit comb.  If you have a hair straightener, this is a very effective way of killing them as well.  If you discover your child has nits, can you please contact me so I am aware.

Wednesday
- PTA Bake Sale: Medium $1 ea or Large $2 ea (NZD or PTA Dollars)
- Howick Intermediate talk with Y6s
- Performing Arts rehearsal
- Gymnastics practice
- Library

Thursday

- Performing Arts Evening 6:00pm (all students are part of this event)

Friday
- HomeFun due
- Bible
- Korean students' last day
- Kapa Haka
