Soccer Game Against Pigeon Mountain School

On Friday last week HPS's soccer team had a game against Pigeon Mountain.

We were excited because it was our first game and we wanted to win.

So we left class at 12.25pm and went to train.  Then Pigeon Mountain arrived and we started.

The other team was starting and they passed it to the defender and he kicked it up.  We chased it but Mason got it.  Mason passed it me.  Then I passed to Andre and bang he shot and the ball just missed.  Our first goal was when I passed it to Andre and Andre chipped it from the side and Henry was right next to the goal and he stricked it hard and it went in.  HOORAY!  The other team hardly got near our goal because Mason, Kyle and James were defending the back so well.  Then it was going to happen again.  Andre dribbled and dribbled and bet the defender and Henry was calling for the ball and Andre played it through the gap and Henry stopped the ball and the defender ran straight past.

Then Henry shot for the top left corner and YES he got it in.  It was 2-0 to us😀.  We had many attempts but sadly we missed them.  Then it was half time we all had a rest and we were drinking a lot of water.  We changed our goal keep to Dan.  Then the referee blowed the whistle and we went back to our places.  We were starting.  So we kicked off.  Andre passed it to Henry and Henry passed it back to me then Henry ran into the gap and I was like 7 metres away and I passed it and Henry pushed it to the side and wacked it and got the 3rd goal hooray we won 3-0 and we were happy and Henry scored 3 goals and all of us were happy.  It was a fun game and we can't wait till next Friday's game at Mission Heights Primary were the goals are as big as Giants.
