We arrived at school from 8:15-8:30. After Mrs Simpson talked to us about the camp for 10-15 minutes. Then we had to go and put our stuff into the buses. There was a bus 1 and a bus 2. Next Mrs Simpson talked about camp a bit more. Then we got in the buses and left. It was a 2 hour drive to Bridal Falls where we had morning tea. The Falls were amazing they were a 55 meter drop. Then we hopped back into the bus and left to go the Camp Raglan. It was a 30 minute drive to camp. Once we got there the camp manager (Roger) talked about the camp and what we are allowed to do and what we can't do and where all the activities are. After that we went to our dorms and put our stuff down and had lunch. Next we went back to our dorm rooms and made our beds and sorted out our clothes. Then we had FREE time to play on the playground and massive hammock. Next we sang grace and had dinner. For dinner we had beef stew, rice and veggies. The stew tasted awesome. Then we had glow worms and burmatrail. Next we had story time and the book Susie read was Spymouse. Its about a mouse thats a really big fan of James Bond and wants to be just like him.
WE HAD AN AMAZING TIME ON DAY ONE!!
